Hello Waverley, and welcome to our last issue of 2018!

Well, Christmas is nearly upon us and with the festive season just around the corner what better theme for this issue than everyone’s favourite time of the year?

There’s some great Christmas themed events happening over the next few weeks, in particular the Waverley Christmas Tree light switch-on, taking place on Sunday 2nd December. The events committee have been working very hard getting everything ready for what promises to be a fantastic event for all of the community. Check pages 6 & 7 for more info.

We have updates from the Residents Association and Harworth, our regular front cover sponsor, keeping everyone in the loop with planning applications, the school, the park and what’s happening over the road with our neighbouring business community on the AMP.

At Wave Magazine, we’re thrilled to be able to bring you a publication that unites the residential and business communities of Waverley. Both play a key part in developing Waverley into what it is – the biggest (and best) residential and business community in Yorkshire!

On to our advertisers, who I can’t thank enough for helping to make Wave Magazine possible, there’s loads of Christmas related products and services on offer to help get you in the mood for the holidays. There’s some fantastic events happening in the local area, as well as some timely offers from our local business community.

You will notice every advertiser in Wave is a local business, with many of them owner managed. Please continue to support your local businesses by considering them the next time you require any of their services!

To any local business owners who haven’t considered Wave Magazine as an advertising tool yet, we deliver to every home and business at Waverley and the AMP, with further copies dropped into other local business centres and the Winter Green pub, meaning we are now delivering over 1,000 copies of the magazine each issue!

As Waverley grows, so will the reach of Wave Magazine and we’re proud to offer a very cost effective advertising tool to reach a very targeted audience. Please visit our website www.wavemagazine.co.uk for pricing details and everything else you need to know about the magazine.

A final note of thanks goes to Hayley Kirk Photography for providing some great original photography for Wave Magazine, including the front cover image of last year’s community Christmas tree!

Thanks for reading, and for your continued support – see you again in 2019!
