Welcome to the October / November issue of Wave Magazine!
It’s hard to believe we’re already heading into the final few months of the year, but there is still plenty happening across Waverley, with lots to catch up on in this issue.
We’re really pleased to be launching a new feature this time around, a ‘Focus on Olive Lane’, giving businesses based on Olive Lane the chance to introduce themselves to Wave readers, tell us a little more about what they do and promote their products and services. First up are Mallard Mortgages and Farina’s Artisan Pizza. If you run a business on Olive Lane and would like to be featured in a future issue, just drop us a line at hello@ wavemagazine.co.uk. You’ll also notice a few new faces among our advertisers this month.
It’s great to welcome so many local businesses to the magazine, all with products and services they’re keen to share with the Waverley community. As always, please support them where you can. Buying local really does make a difference.
We also want to say a huge congratulations to Waverley Buds, who were shortlisted for the BBC Radio Sheffield Make a Difference Awards. Anyone who has spent time in the community garden will know how much care, time and effort the volunteers put into making it such a wonderful part of Waverley.
And finally, keep an eye out for details of what’s coming up at the Community Hub over October half term and, dare we mention it already, Christmas! Save the date, and we’ll have more to share in the next issue.
As always, thank you to all our advertisers, contributors and readers for your continued support. We hope you enjoy the issue!
