Welcome to Issue 52 of Wave Magazine!
It feels like summer is flying by once again, but there is plenty happening across Waverley and the surrounding area as we head into the latter part of the holidays.
One of the biggest updates is the news that Waverley Medical Centre is due to open in September. We know this has been eagerly anticipated by residents, so make sure you read the latest update from Gateway Primary Care, including details of how to register your interest in becoming a patient.
Getting around the area is also becoming easier, with more bus routes now serving Waverley, the AMRC and Sheffield Business Park. Whether you are travelling to Sheffield, Rotherham, Meadowhall or further afield, our guide explains the services currently available and some of the improvements being explored for the future.
Elsewhere in the magazine, we share the inspiring story behind Jude and the Book Factory, a local charity spreading kindness by providing books, creative experiences and special moments for children and families. We also look ahead to Oktoberfest at Olive Lane on 9th October, which promises live music, food, drinks and plenty of themed entertainment!
