Hello, and welcome to issue 38 of Wave Magazine!
As the Easter holidays draw to an end, it is (hopefully) also time to see the wet weather reduce so people can start getting out into their gardens and start planning for the summer. This time of year typically sees construction ramp up on Waverley as well, none more so than the much anticipated Olive Lane development and Highwall Park.
For those that live near Stephenson Way, you will have no doubt seen shovels hit the ground on Olive Lane, as well as the new Sky House residential development, but for those that don’t we can show progress on this in the Harworth update in this issue of Wave.
Following recent residents meetings, communication channels between developers, the community council, and residents has been raised repeatedly. At Wave Magazine we will continue to update with as much new information as we can, and would also like to direct you to various social media channels for Waverley, such as the Community Council and Waverley Residents Forum Facebook pages (as well as our own where we publish and share all articles we publish in Wave).
There is also a newsletter you can sign up to, to make sure nothing gets missed. Details of this are in the Harworth article.
Also in this issue, there is an update on traffic around Waverley, of which we hope to provide more information in future issues from the newly appointed Travel Plan Co-ordinator, and details of the community litter picks that are organised by residents.
As always, Wave Magazine is open for everyone to contribute, so if you have any news to share about anything you are involved in, please drop us a line to hello@wavemagazine.co.uk and we will include this where we can, either in print or online.
Thank you to all our advertisers, regular contributors and news gatherers, your support is gratefully received!
