2024 is set to be a big year for Waverley, as we get to see the Olive Lane developments start to take shape, along with further stages of Highwall Park.
There’s lots to tell you about, so please see the update from magazine sponsor Harworth who shed more light on what we can expect to see, and when, and from Waverley Community Council, who are set to have a more permanent home at the heart of Waverley, which can only be a good thing as we continue to improve communication channels for residents.
With shovels hitting the ground in late 2023, we will now be able to see daily progress being made over the course of the next 12 months with an expected opening date of early 2025. We will continue to provide updates in Wave Magazine and on our social media channels throughout the year.
Huge thanks go to the Waverley Events team for organising the Christmas Light Switch-On in December, and all the other events they have arranged over the past few years for everyone to enjoy. Future events are now being organised by Waverley Community Council, with a summer get together currently in planning. We will reveal more in future issues of Wave!
As we head into half term, we have our latest music, film and TV reviews to enjoy from our resident musologist and film critics. I, for one, plan my viewing and listening around their recommendations so I hope you all enjoy them as much as I do!
For the football fans amongst you, we would also like to direct you to MorrisMadness, who is our resident football vlogger for all things Premier League to Non-League – check out Liam’s article and give him a follow!
Wave is open for everyone to contribute, so if you have any news to share about anything you are involved in, please drop us a line to hello@wavemagazine.co.uk and we will always do our best to publish it.
Thank you as always to all our advertisers, regular contributors and news gatherers, we are incredibly grateful for your support!
