Read Issue 36 of Wave Magazine here
Hello, and welcome to the Christmas 2023 issue of Wave Magazine!
Blink and it’s here again, Christmas 2023, and there’s plenty to look forward to in and around Waverley this festive season, which we will tell you all about in this issue of Wave Magazine!
We’ve moved our delivery date forward to give readers enough time to plan for the month, as well as get in the mood with our latest round of Christmas themed music and film reviews, which we hope you enjoy.
First up is the Waverley Christmas Tree Light Switch-On, taking place pretty much as soon as you receive the magazine on Saturday 2nd December at Central Park – we hope to see as many residents there as possible!
We also have the annual visit of Santa to look forward to, courtesy of the Rotherham Round Table, on Saturday 16th December as the big man tours the estate raising money for some fantastic local causes around Rotherham.
Magazine sponsor, Harworth Group, have some long awaited planning news to announce around Olive Lane, check out their update for all the latest information and timescales.
We also have our regular update for residents from Waverley Community Council, who tell us about the final expected number of homes on Waverley, gritting options for the winter, and the annual precept.
Remember, Wave is a community magazine, so if you have any news to share about anything you are involved in, please drop us a line to hello@wavemagazine.co.uk and we will always do our best to publish it.
As the year comes to a close, I would like to say a big thank you to all who support Wave Magazine: our advertisers from a fantastic range of local businesses, our contributors, and news gatherers – we couldn’t do this without you!
Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
