Hello, and welcome to Issue 45 of Wave Magazine!

As we enter the summer months its great timing that this also coincides with lots of openings and events that everyone around Waverley can get involved in. We’ve already been blessed with bright sunshine for the grand opening of Olive Lane in May, and can only hope the weather will be just as kind for the annual summer fun day which is taking place on 21st June – again on Olive Lane which I have no doubt will continue to develop as the central hub for everything events related.

There was a great turn out for the Olive Lane opening, which highlights just how important this central facility is going to be for everyone. We hope to see just as may (if not more) at the upcoming fun day which is being organised by Waverley Community Council.

You can check out what else is happening over the next couple of months in the Harworth and Community Council updates in this issue of Wave.

We’re also publishing a ‘hello’ from Hall Court Vets, one of our new neighbours on Olive Lane, as well as raising some awareness around the proposed pharmacy and the difficulties they are facing in getting a license granted to open on Waverley. If you, or any family members, have a story to tell around this please reach out to them to help strengthen their case to have something like this on our doorstep.

Finally, a big thank you to everyone who is featuring in this issue of Wave, be it our regular article contributors (you know who you are) or our advertisers – we appreciate all your help and support! If any other readers of Wave would like to get involved in future issues please contact us on hello@wavemagazine.co.uk

Thanks for reading, and enjoy our latest issue.
