The 1dayaweek sustainable travel photo completion is free to enter for all Waverley residents and employees. Travel without the car on public transport or by walking, running, wheelchair or cycling and send us your photo. Jean is our first Waverley winner and is now £50 better just by sending us a photo of her on a car-less journey.

We want to reduce congestion around Waverley, improve air quality and road safety and provide motivation for people to be more active. A more active lifestyle improves physical and mental health as well as well-being.

Pupils at Waverley junior academy will also be taking part in a school version of 1dayaweek from September. Any pupils travelling by walking, scooter or cycling will be entered in to the competition each day and 2 lucky pupils will win a £25 voucher each with new winners every month.
