If you haven’t been in the centre of Rotherham lately, you could be forgiven for not knowing the winds of change are blowin’! It’s opening up and so are new businesses. This month however, I’m visiting an old business which is still serving satisfied customers: SuperFry!

That’s right, just across from Tesco on Drummond Street around the corner from Effingham

Square is SuperFry. This is a humble business (cash only folks) but it serves up the most

sublime Fish and Chips I’ve had in years. Not only does it provide everything a good chippy

should, but the meal deal I had was Fish, Chips and Gravy for £4.80.

Now it might be labelled up ‘small’ it was but more than enough, even for a strapping lad like me’sen! A meal this good for under a fiver!? I’ll be back.
