Everyone is talking about our classes starting back in January!
In this fast-moving world, many children are learning to communicate by text, email and social networking and, because of this, they may lack the essential talking skills necessary for them to speak up with confidence and have something worthwhile to say and interesting to listen to.
Success in later life is often dependent on our development as a child. Building sound verbal communication skills in the early years is paramount to unlocking the world in which we live. Realising a child’s creative and expressive potential through drama is a key to a child’s healthy development.
The new term will be starting for Drama Kids week commencing Monday 5th January, and Principal Lauren is very excited to be welcoming so many new children into classes. Lauren said: “It is amazing how quickly the new ones settle into our classes. Because the curriculum can easily be adapted to challenge children of any ability, no-one feels threatened and all students can develop at their own pace, while being part of something positive and successful. Classes are great fun and, in such an environment, children learn very quickly!”
These affordable classes are available in Whiston, Thorpe Hesley, Wickersley, Warmsworth, Wath Upon Dearne and Todwick.
