On Saturday 7th December we are holding our Christmas Light Switch-on Event in Central Park (off Leopold Way) from 4:30pm to 6:30pm. Everyone is welcome to come along and join in the festivities.
Santa will be giving out gifts to children in his grotto, there will be an Elf (possibly on a shelf) with treats for older children and the Woodhouse Prize Band will be coming along to play some festive tunes for everyone. there will be food and drink available to purchase – Farina’s pizzas, the Bean Rover hot drinks, Simply Prosecco Bar and Rosie’s Bakes’ hot waffles.
We’d like to say a big THANK YOU to the Waverley Events Team and the Rivers Team for helping to book Santa during his busiest time and for helping him on the day, also to Harworth for sending along the Elf and new decorations for the Christmas tree, to Barratt and David Wilson Homes for contributing to the refreshments, and to Brendan at Wave Magazine for helping with the publicity for the event.
