Can you donate a prize to support two local charities?

My name is Chris and in memory of my son, Jamie, who tragically passed away at birth due to a defective heart condition, I organise an annual charity raffle and auction to raise money for two amazing charities which mean a lot to my family. Both organisations do outstanding work for children and families who are going through traumatic and life changing times and by doing this fundraising I’m hoping that it will make a difference to those families under their wonderful care.

The two charities are Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice and The Children’s Hospital Charity at Sheffield Children’s Hospital and all funds raised will be split 50/50 between the two charities.
With the amazing generosity and support we received last year we raised £5000 taking the total amount raised through the fundraising to over £20,000. In order to raise as much as we can again and possibly achieve a higher amount raised, I would be grateful if anyone in the Waverley community would consider donating an item or prize to our raffle and auction which would maximise raffle ticket sales?

Any donation is greatly appreciated and would mean so much. It could be a shopping voucher, meal vouchers, days out, hair and beauty treatment, a bottle of wine or a box of chocolates. Every penny raised will help make a difference.

Chris Jarvis of CJ Decorating is organising his annual charity raffle and auction for Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice and The Children’s Hospital Charity at The Sheffield Children’s Hospital.

Chris comments: “I do this yearly in memory of my son Jamie Ryan who sadly passed away due to a defective heart condition. I know the suffering and heartache the children and families are going through at the two amazing facilities and if I can make their lives better by doing the fundraising then every penny raised will mean so much.

“So I am appealing for raffle prize donations and possible auction items which will maximise raffle ticket sales when we put them on sale in mid-October. No donation is too big or small and every offer will be gratefully received. If you or someone you know owns a business or shop and would be willing to help, please get in touch. Whether it be a hairdressers, beauty treatments, pub or restaurant, shopping vouchers, gym or spa, sports items or tickets, alcohol or chocolates, anything will make a difference to those families. Thank you!”
