“I always knew setting up my own practice was the goal, working for others never gave me fulfilment. Now I can structure things my way, spend more time with people and listen to their concerns.”

Starting a business can be daunting, but Shannon found vital support through RIDO’s Launchpad programme. “I heard about it at a local networking meeting and signed up straight away.” She has attended multiple courses on AI and marketing, gaining practical insights to grow her clinic.

Shannon’s advice to other aspiring entrepreneurs, “Sign up straight away and immerse yourself in as many of their courses. You don’t know everything about business and if you learn one thing from a session, it’s something new. I’ve always learned something from each workshop”

Shannon’s ambition for the future is clear: “I want to be the go-to physio clinic in the local area, that people know and trust.”
